Recently,ProfessorYang Si Yong from the Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering and ProfessorKim Nam Ki from the Department of AI Computer Engineering at Gyeonggi University came toouruniversity to give lectures to the program students according to the agreement and teaching arrangement of theChinese-foreign cooperative education programs between the college and Gyeonggi University in South Korea.

Thisactivity is the first time thatthe college introduces offline teaching by professors from Gyeonggi University in South Korea. The teaching activities are mainly conducted by Korean teachers, with Chinese teachers serving as teaching assistants.Interacting with students in class, the two professors provided rich theoretical and practical courses for program student withcourseware prepared carefully. With theactive cooperation of thecollege teachers, the classroom teaching was well-organized,andthe key points were highlighted, showing goodteachingeffect.What’s more, the teaching process was well received by the students,by the way, the classroom performanceof these studentswas also recognized by the two professors.


In addition to teaching, theteachers and students of the college programs, together withthetwo professors, held China-South Korea cultural exchange activities. They explored the characteristics of cooperative education majors ofthe twouniversities, and held themed lectures on professional topics such as4 Industrial Revolutions, SMART FACTORY&3 Fixed 5S andArtificial Intelligence. In-depth communication and opinions exchange were engaged between both parties, promoting the integration of Chinese and foreign teaching models. Besides, they showed theirwilling tocontinue extensive cooperation in professional co-construction, academic lectures, teachercommunications, student studyabroad (tours) and other aspects. They also look forward to promoting the deep development of friendship between the twouniversities and jointly cultivating cross-cultural, composite, high-quality technical and skilled talents.
The first offline teaching by foreign teachers in the programs is an important sign that theChinese-foreign cooperative education programs in thecollege havereached a new level. Thisactivity has significant implications for enhancing the college’s internationalization capabilitiesdue to thestimulation of the vitality of cooperative education and the deepening the connotation of cooperative education. Face to face communication between foreign teachers and students has improved their professional knowledge and abilities, broadened their international perspectives. It also reflected the college’s strong efforts to carry out international teaching. In the next step,the college will continue to promote the standardized operation and deepening ofChinese-foreign cooperative education programs,andstimulate the strong momentum of high-quality development ofChinese-foreign cooperative education in the college.
